The Town of Aurora is recognizing Treaties Recognition Week from November 3 to 9 along with other municipalities across Ontario. Treaties Recognition Week is an annual event introduced by the province of Ontario in 2016, to promote awareness of treaty rights and relationships.

Fireworks are only permitted on Victoria Day and Canada Day weekends. Remember they are not allowed on public property, including parks, streets, and open spaces in Aurora. Additionally, fireworks can only be set off between dusk and 11 p.m. on these designated days. Let's ensure a safe and peaceful community for all.
