Three Town of Aurora events have been awarded a 2025 Top 100 Award, during the Festival & Events Ontario’s (FEO) Annual Conference “SYNERGY” in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. The winning Aurora events are Concerts in the Park, Haunted Forest and Multicultural Festival.

Aurora Town Council received a report on the final cost of Aurora Town Square, the Town’s largest capital project, totalling $59.73 million. The significant weather event declared due to a winter storm, of snow and freezing rain on sidewalks, roadways, laneways, and bicycle lanes, commencing at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, pursuant to O. Our crews are working hard to clear the sidewalks and make them safe for everyone! We aim to have most sidewalks open and passable by the end of the weekend. Some areas with heavy snow buildup will need larger equipment and may take longer but we’re on it!
Our dedicated staff and contractors have been working around the clock, already hauling away hundreds of loads of snow from Yonge Street, Machel Ave, Irwin Ave, and McDonald Drive.
