Town of Aurora announces mandatory vaccination policy for municipal staff

The Town of Aurora today announced that it is implementing a mandatory vaccination policy for
municipal staff. This aligns with similar announcements made recently by both public and private sector organizations.

UPDATE: We have had quite the day today at Ribfest. Thankfully, to our knowledge, no one was hurt. Staff are cleaning up from the storm and preparing to reopen tomorrow at 11 a.m. for the final day of Ribfest. We hope to see you there!

Aurora to host 2 pop-up vaccine clinics on August 27 & 28

The Town of Aurora will be hosting 2 pop-up vaccination clinics on August 27 and 28. Both clinics will be offering first and second doses for walk-ins to anyone born in 2009 or older, no appointment required.

Friday, August 27 -Metrolinx GO-VAXX Bus
4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Machell Park - 2 Aurora Heights Drive (Parking Lot)

Saturday, August 28 - York Region Clinic
12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Aurora Community Centre - 1 Community Centre Lane
No appointment Necessary
